I'm editing my first thought. That would make it a second thought... Just imagine that this post as being my first post because I think the program will stick it back up at the top. I thought it might be nice to have some space of my own on this blog to organize my thoughts. This might not be made public because I think that by design public declarations tend to be gloat worthy. I'm not about to gloat and tear down others. On the other hand, if I have something good or virtuous that could help someone else maybe it may not be so bad.
To sum up, I don't want to make anyone feel bad. Just take everything I have to post in a positive way. I think that would make this a disclaimer. Just if I could make that legally binding. 😉
This should be interesting.

Waiting on Spring
Thoughts
I think that the most exciting thing about any event is the anticipation. Watching sprouts pop up and imagining what their going to grow into just gives every day purpose.
It's important to enjoy every season of your life. Yes, even winter, where there's snow on top, your cold more often than you like and falling down is always a concern. 😄 I think that we're in the late spring of our lives. Where the sprouts are all popped up and we are doing everything we can to give them a strong start in life.
Week Update
I'm making progress on finishing one more room of our basement. We just need one more wall panel and then we can work on the ceiling. I know we still have a long way to go to finish but I'm looking forward with hope. It is my new year resolution after all.
I made and tasted my first Hollandaise sauce today. Amy asked me what eggs Benedict was and I didn't know. After looking into it I decided to try it out. There was a few alterations that I made that if I had all of the ingredients I would have done it different. I didn't have butter so I used plain Crisco water and butter flavoring. I also didn't have lemon juice and used pink lemonade instead. Well I gave it a try and I'd have to say it was good for a first try. A little sweeter than expected but I did use lemonade. Next time I think I can pull off looking like I know what I'm doing.

Legacy
I've often thought about lasting legacies. Most things that I've seen are temporary. Much like drawing in the sand. There is one requirement that seems to be more important than any to keep a legacy. That one thing is having each generation value what is passed down. I would hope that each generation values good things. I know that isn't always true. I would also hope that the bad things are forgotten through the generations.
